Pahrump property taxes for fiscal year 2003-2004 were $3.3282 per $100 of assessed valuation. The assessed value is 35% of total appraised (taxable) value of the property. If your land & home had a total appraised value of $100,000, your annual property tax would be based on an assessed value of $35,000 and your total tax would be approximately $1,165. A sales tax of 6.75% applies to all products, except food items and service, compared to Las Vegas, which is 7.5%. There is a state business tax that is based on the number of employees a company has.
